Criminal Justice

Thames Valley Restorative Justice Service (TVRJS) offers consultancy associates for advice and guidance in both the development and delivery of restorative justice services at all stages of the criminal justice system.

Our trainers and facilitators have an in-depth knowledge and experience of developing and sustaining best quality Restorative Justice (RJ) at all stages of the Criminal Justice System. In addition all our facilitators either already hold or are working towards the Skills for Justice NVQ in Restorative Practice.

In 2011 TVRJS was selected by the National Offender Management Service (NOMs) to co-lead the three years Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Capacity Building Programme and in particular to produce the handbook, called Wait ‘Til Eight that is now recognised as the definitive guide and recommended practice on how to embed and operationalise restorative justice within a statutory criminal justice setting.
