The Work of TVRJS

Thames Valley Restorative Justice Service (TVRJS) works with statutory and voluntary partner agencies at the forefront of research, development and delivery of adult restorative practices in England and Wales. It introduces restorative practices as a practical and value-for-money intervention for reducing harm in a wide range of situations, including within the criminal justice service, educational, community and workplace settings.

TVRJS is part of a registered charity, The Thames Valley Partnership, having been originally introduced as part of the then Thames Valley Probation service in 2000 as a pioneering multi-agency collaboration. This forward-thinking ethos has set TVRJS apart as a thought leader within its field.  With experienced and fully trained facilitators TVRJS’s track record is proven and widely recognised.

As a recipient of the Howard League’s prestigious Community Sentence Award (2010) and one of the first to be awarded the national Restorative Service Quality Mark in 2014, TVRJS is an internationally recognised centre of excellence.
